Japanese Sencha, Uchiyama, organic

Tea Strength
Internationally well-known tea classic from Kagoshima Prefecture (Island Kyūshū, Japan) with a taste that has fruity notes and umami. Tasty taste to this tea comes both from the soil of tea's growing region as well as its processing where the smaller powdery leaf material is not sifted away as traditionally. This tea is said to contain especially much EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate). Brewed tea has a lime-green color and a naturally sweet taste with full-bodied fruityness.
